KOAT

KOAT makes kefir bars — an ancient gut health ingredient in a modern, grab-and-go format. The challenge was to give the new food brand a high-performing, trust-focused and bespoke storefront that looked as bold and confident as the product itself, without losing the flexibility to grow.

The result is a site built around KOAT’s visual world: electric blue, warm cream, and the brand’s signature flavour colours — banana, blueberry, raspberry. Every card, button, and block carries the same graphic treatment: thick ink outlines, chunky display type, and a sticker shadow that gives the whole store a tactile, printed feel.

Beyond the visual layer, the store is built to be owned. The Why Kefir page makes a compelling case for the ingredient with stats and benefit sections styled to match the brand. The About page introduces the two founders with a story that earns trust before the customer has added anything to their cart. Collection pages are clean and product-first, with the hero content stripped back to let the range speak.

The subscription Recharge widget — critical for a consumable product — was brought fully into the brand, so the purchase experience feels seamless rather than bolted on.

The whole thing is editable through Shopify’s CMS, so the KOAT team can update content, swap imagery, and launch new pages without needing a developer every time.
